Ct tag and Tut For Carolann Creations

I am also using the ptu scrapkit Headed to the chapel By wicked princess scraps which you can purchase here ,http://designerscraps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=93_123&products_id=3800

This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tuts is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only.you will need a working knowledge of gimp or psp or other similar programmes.

I Am Using Gimp which is a free programme you can download 

Basic Tutorial 

* Go to file > new > 800 x800 > ok 

* Layer > Tranparency >color to alpha >ok 

* open paper10 scale to fit canvas 

* open up your mask make sure it is above your paper layer in the layers box 

* now add your mask 

If Your Unsure how to add the mask here you  go open up your mask layer scale too 600x600

And make sure it is above the paper layer in your layers box

next right click the paper layer in the layer box and click add layer mask make sure full black transparency is selected in the pop up box make sure the little black box is highlighted white on your dialogue box .

now click on your mask layer in the layer box and go up to edit then click copy .you can hide the mask layer now by clicking the little eye.

next click on your paper layer go up to edit and hit paste you should now see your mask paper layer you will need to anchor  the floating layer you do this by hitting the little icon that looks like an anchor on your layer box.you can now delete the original mask layer .

ok so we can move on .

* Next Open Up chapel png scale to 650 x580 and place in the centre of your mask paper layer 

*now add a drop shadow to do this go to Filters >light and shadow > dropshadow > in pop up box put these settings 2,2,4,black >ok 

*Next open up the love heart png and scale to 180x200 and place in line with roof of chapel on right hand side 

*Next open up the car png and scale 195x235 place on left hand side of chapel 

* repeat drop shadow 

* next open up your dove png scale to size and place on opposite side of roof 

* Add a repeat drop shadow 

* next open up the bells png and scale and sit below the cross on the roof 

* And Repeat drop shadow 

* I have used the word art supplied in the kit open up and scale to your preferance and place at bottom of tag 

* now open up those cute little gumdrops i am using the bride and groom and scale 335 x 310  and place on right hand side of tag 

* add a drop shadow 

* Merge all layers 

Now add the credits to the tag 

put your chosen sig on the tag and your done :)
